EVACUATION
During normal conditions learn the locations of regular and emergency exits. Should an emergency arise and you are told to evacuate, remember the following rules:
  • Keep calm and don ́t run.
  • Respect and follow the instructions of the fire marshal in your area.
  • If you see smoke, get down closer to the floor on hands and knees, as the air here
  • is breathable in a room full of smoke.
  • Identify the escape routes that can be found in your workplace. This will help you
  • to locate the emergency exit closest to you and how to reach it.
  • Go to the designated meeting point, without taking deviations from the designa-
  • ted fire route and by looking for emergency exit signs. DO NOT USE LIFTS.
